An epidemiologist by training, I created this site to explore another part of my interests: creating useful things.

Since earning my MPH in 2019, I’ve spent my career in public health working with population-level data and visualizations to better understand and protect how communities experience health and health risks.

However, outside of work I enjoy designing things through technology (mainly because I can't draw, crochet, sew, or scrapbook). It's a puzzle, it's abstract, and it's a creative outlet. My nerdy fascination with websites and web applications is a hobby I've opted to pursue in 2026. And while I've started down this learning path, I've noticed my professional experience and personal interests merge to focus on a single idea: helping people.

This website is where I experiment with combining my background in epidemiology and data analysis, skills in web development and passion for serving others to help make complex information clearer and more accessible.
